Wave Box is a versatile dual waveshaper plugin designed to facilitate both symmetrical and asymmetrical distortion applications. A waveshaper functions by transforming the input signal through a user-defined or fixed shaping curve, resulting in a wide range of tonal possibilities.
The plugin incorporates two independent waveshapers that can be blended together, with each modulated by two Low-Frequency Oscillators (LFOs) and a single Envelope Follower. Users can craft their own shaping curves by combining and fine-tuning twelve predefined functions, including tanh, erf, sinh, sin, linear, abs, invert, floor, round, ceil, and two Gaussian functions.
Wave Box offers a spectrum of distortion qualities, from subtle tube-like overdrive to aggressive digital harshness, making it suitable for creative sound design and tone shaping.
